My wife and I purchases two Norditrack products; a NordiTrack Treadmill and a NordiTrack home gym.
We cann speak for the Home gym too much because we have not used the Norditrack Home Gym much; however, we love the Nordictrack Teadmill. We purchased the Nordictrack treadmill with the Reflex Deck. The Reflex Deck is like jogging on butter. It is amazing how well the Nordictrack Reflex Deck absorbs impact to your legs and knees. The NordicTrack Treadmill with Reflex Deck is a great product.

I bought a Norditrack SL 720 Recumbant Stationary Bike from Sears and in the first 6 months it broke (75 hours of use) and they sent the guy from Missouri who does their repairs and after 3 visits he finally repaired it with tools that he had to get from Menards because he didn't have the right tools, and it broke after another 40 hours of use but 1 year had passed since my purchase so now the bike sits in the garage and is completely useless.

Where you went wrong was using the product *TOO* much. See, I bought a Norditrack Treadmill and a Norditrack Stationary Bike and BOTH still work fine. This is because after I purchased them I used them each for about 2 weeks then stopped for a while. That was about 2 years ago.
Now I try to use them each about once every two months. I figure with the light usage schedule I am maintaining, that the products should see a long, stable, working lifespan.
The moral here: most people buy exercise equipment just to have sitting around, or for purposes of hanging clothes; not to actually use.

Do not buy a Norditrack/Icon treadmill if you intend on doing any type of running. I have just about given up on it. I purchased it 6 years ago and it has had nothing but problems since I purchased it. A month or so after I purchased it the circut board blew out. And I was told it was a defect. I should have seen the warning signs. Since then the plastic ripped off the board, bolts have broken off and now it it just shuts off in the middle the workout. After trying all of the solutions provided by customer service. I have given up and I'm throwing out the machine. I will make sure I invest in a higher quality product this time.

Just purchased the mini-trampoline...It does not have enough resistance to really jump up and down to get a nice workout. I would not recommend it to anyone else.

I just bought the Nordictrack eliptical spacesaver advertised on TV. It is awesome! The only downside is that even folded up it takes up a lot of space. It is better than not being able to fold at all, though.

I purchased the NordicTrack SL 720 a few years back. This bike is "junk". The 1st bike broke within the first month of use and I returned it to Sears for a replacement. The 2nd bike broke within the same time frame, so I called service. They have fixed it twice and it is broke again. It will probably end up in the local scrap yard. I have maybe used the bike a total of 30 hours, a total waste of time and money. I would never buy any more NodicTrack equipment, and advise the same for anyone else. I think Sears should review its suppliers in the case.
